School Baby Shower
The Special Education department threw me and our little boy a baby shower. It was so thoughtful of them and I really didn't expect for them to do so much! We had lots of sweets and they gave us so much!
All the food!
Drawing by one of the teachers...they're giving me a hard time because we won't tell the name!
Raleigh loved helping open the gifts...
her favorite was definitely the little crocs!

Thanksgiving Feast
Little Turkey's, Indians, and Pilgrims running around...it must be Child's World Thanksgiving Feast. They have all the fixings...turkey, dressing, jello, corn, green beans, mashed potatoes, and the best indian cornbread ever (I remember it and had to have some)!! My favorite part is how each child gets an Indian name. Raleigh was Princess Golden Hair. It was a fabulous feast! Have I mentioned before how much I love Child's World!?!?

Treat Yo'Self
Treat Yo'Self....the title of our girls weekend to surprise Amy in North Carolina! What a fun weekend we had even though it was only a day. We met up to leave on Saturday morning and got dressed in our shirts!
Then we got on the road bound for Charlotte, North Carolina. The best part of the ride up...our stop at a new QT that had $0.19 pastries! Yum! Once in Charlotte, we called to let Ben know we were near and he told us Amy had just gotten home so we drove up to surprise her!!
You can't see her face in the picture, but she was surprised! Success!! We told her to pack, change shirts, and we were taking her away for the night.
All ready for a fun girls night! On the way to the hotel we did see a sign guy that was really enjoying his job! He entertained us at the red light with all his tricks!
Before we checked into the hotel we made a stop by the outlet mall for some shopping and even some time to "treat yo'self." But since we're all mothers, who did we shop for most...our children! :) After checking into our hotel we headed out for dinner at Mama Ricotta's. Definitely the best Italian I've ever had and even better that we were able to order family style and share different meals! For dessert we headed to the Crepe Cellar. A crepe with Nutella, bananas, and strawberries is absolutely delicious!! We're such crazy girls that we went back to the hotel and just hung out and talked, but definitely had a great time!
Sunday morning we enjoyed breakfast in the hotel and a little time together before we had to drop Amy off. It went by quickly, but it was nice to have a short break from all of the mommy responsibilities. We definitely have the best husbands who take such great care of our kids!!
Many, many thanks to Mandy for organizing an extremely fun and memorable weekend!

Recheck at 29 weeks!
We went again for another ultrasound to recheck my cervical length. First, baby boy had a healthy heartbeat at 149 bpm. Then we finally got a good report all the way around! My cervical length was at 2.9 cm last week and went to 2.4 cm with pressure. This week it was 3.6 cm and didn't change with pressure! Another answered prayer! I'm so thankful that God listens and answers even the small prayers!

Trick or Treat!
We did a little trick or treating this year for Halloween. Since all the grandparents want to see Raleigh we really only have time to make it to see them...and by the time we drive there and stay for a few minutes it takes about 2 1/2 hours! That is fine since it decreases the amount of candy we receive. :) We did make an extra stop at Memaw's neighbors house, Mr. Huey and Mrs. Loretta. They were so sweet and made a little bag of goodies for Raleigh. This year however Raleigh was in rare form and was very quiet and didn't ask non-stop for candy...I sense sickness coming on. :( Although she wasn't herself, she was extra sweet! Happy Halloween!

Step One in Baby's Room
We finally had a full Saturday where we didn't have plans and Jason didn't need to go into work so he was able to paint the baby's room. We painted it a celery green and it looks great now that it is fully painted. Finally we have step one done in getting the room ready!
