Lists!

I love lists!  I have a calendar that I make a list for each day.  Today when I was in Raleigh's room I found her list.  I may be rubbing off on her!

All the Attention!

Blakely gets all the attention now.  She met Jenna and her mom and also had her picture made with Todd and Cindy.  And of course Grandma wanted a picture of all three in front of the Christmas Tree.

Thomas Returns!

Thomas our elf has returned and Raleigh wrote a note to him!  So cute and sweet!

O Christmas Tree!

We went to cut down our real Christmas tree this year.  Blakely did great to only be two weeks old!  Garner and Raleigh helped find the perfect tree and I think we found a great one!  Garner also found some snow and decided he needed to eat some!  This is one of my favorite traditions!  When we got back home our elf had returned and brought pajamas!

Garner is a huge helper outside!  He helped Jason put out the mulch in the yard.

Tree Decorating

This year I didn't do most of the tree decorating.  It was very hard to sit back and just observe, but it's what I did mostly.  So needless to say many ornaments were not hung where I thought they should be and a lot were hung down low, but it still looked pretty.  Garner and Raleigh loved it so that is what matters.  I don't think I went back to move too many.  :)

Weight Check...at home!

Blakely was going in for a weight check the next day and I was worried she wasn't back up to her birth weight.  With Raleigh and Garner it took both of them almost two weeks to get back up to their birth weight.  Since it took them longer the doctors were concerned they weren't getting enough milk which was not the case.  I said from the beginning I wasn't going to sit in the doctors office and have to nurse Blakely with the lactation consultant standing over me.  That drives me crazy!  So Jason pulled out his scale he used for his bikes and we rigged up a way to weigh Blakely.  Not the safest, but we had three adults so all hands were ready for her!  She was within an ounce or two of being good!  Garner also is enjoying his alone time with her while Raleigh is at school.  When Raleigh gets home she is ready to have her time!

Newborn Pictures

Once again, Jennie did a fabulous job of capturing some great newborn pictures for us!  She really had to work for these pictures because Blakely did not want to be put down or stay asleep!  I think it was partly because it was so cold outside that the studio wasn't quite as warm as it needed to be.  She still got some amazing shots!
