Day 60

I love that Raleigh thought Garner was cold so she covered him up in her blanket. It was only about 70 degrees outside!

Day 59

Sleeping in the swing.  Lately at night the only way we can get Garner to be quiet or to sleep is in the swing.  For some reason he fights sleep between his last two feedings, but he sure is cute once he goes to sleep.  

Day 58

Raleigh found the Wii controllers and wanted to play, so we put in Just Dance and she loved it.  I loved watching her...not sure where she got her moves from though.  :)  Yep, that would be Daddy participating next to her, but I figured he'd kill me if I showed his picture.   :)

Day 57

The Greatest Show on Earth!

Papa thought Raleigh would enjoy the circus, so him and Grandma treated us to the circus.  Raleigh, Jason, and Grandma enjoyed the pre-show and Papa, Garner, and I came in right before the show.  Raleigh loved it...especially the elephants.  We did have a great time and are very thankful to Grandma and Papa for taking us.

Day 56

Actually listening and posing for the camera!  It really drives me crazy, but it's not a battle worth fighting, but Raleigh is ALWAYS in a gown for pictures.  When we stay home she doesn't want to put on clothes, but loves wearing her gowns and sometimes adding in mismatched headbands!  Gotta love it!

Day 55

I LOVE this picture!  Raleigh wanted to read to Garner and he was tired and yawning...just like a man.  :)  It just makes me laugh!

7 weeks

Day 54

We went to a consignment sale and Raleigh fell in love with this Hawaiian dress (actually made in Hawaii).  She insisted on putting it on when we got home and Garner was already dressed in his little whale outfit.  They're all ready for the beach!  Now if we could only figure out when and where we are going to go on vacation this year...Jason isn't buying the idea of going to Hawaii just because Raleigh has a dress from there.  :)

Lunch with the Elephants

Late Tuesday night I got an email about having lunch with the Barnum & Bailey Circus elephants.  Raleigh had just mentioned that she loved the elephants the best, so I thought this would be great.  So we packed a lunch and went to the arena to have lunch with the elephants. I had no idea so many people would be there, but when we got there we couldn't really see, but we ended up finding a little hole (thanks to some other moms that made sure the younger kids could see).  Not really able to eat and watch, so we waited to eat.  It was definitely a neat experience!

Sunday afternoon nap!  When Raleigh was little I would often take a nap holding her.  Well, with Garner I haven't done that, so I decided this Sunday that I was going to.  Raleigh thought she needed to do the same with her baby, so you can see her dolls hair sticking out from her blanket.  :)

Sentimental

Yep, I'm very sentimental.  Even with a car.  Since Jason got a new car for his birthday that meant getting rid of the blazer that was my car.  Even though I didn't like driving it anymore it was the car that got me home from college each weekend so I could see Jason.  :)  It lasted for 14 years and was still going.  I would have loved to have seen how long it would make it because Scott told me when I drove it up to North Carolina right after getting it that it wouldn't last long since it was a Chevy.  :)  It had hit 200,000 miles and was still going!  Well, it's gone now, but I'll always remember my little blazer.

 My parking sticker was still on it after 10 years...I didn't listen when my friends told me I should take it off.  :)

Sibling Love

Whenever I try to take Garner's picture alone or for his weekly picture, Raleigh ALWAYS thinks she needs to jump in too, but I sure do love the sweet moments between them!

Day 48

Ribbon dancing!  Raleigh had to put on her ballet slippers (aka flip flops) and dance with her ribbon.

Day 47

How can someone so small make such a big mess?  Time to change outfits again...going onto #3 of the day!  That does look like one full belly though!  :)

Valentine's Day

I love Valentine's Day!  Maybe it's because it's the day after my birthday or maybe it's all the pink and red, I don't know, but I love it.  We started the day by going to Raleigh's Valentine party at Child's World.  She had fun, but was a little irritable from little sleep the night before.

Working on her craft...foam stickers on a foam frame...best craft we've done yet.  :)

 After some sleep for all of us, I was able to get some pictures in the shirts I made for Raleigh and Garner.  I was very pleased with how easy they were to make.  Next up is a tie onsie for Garner.  :)

 Grandma and Papa stopped by to deliver their Valentine gifts to Raleigh and Garner.

 After dinner Raleigh and Garner got a little gift from us.

 Raleigh opened Garner's gift...he was really excited!

 Raleigh and I also had a delivery.  I got these beautiful tulips...my favorite!

Raleigh got these beautiful roses.  She loved them and was so excited!  So thankful she has a daddy that loves her so much and tries to always show her what she needs to look for in a husband.
