Wicked!

Stacey had an excellent idea for Andrea's birthday...a surprise girl's night to see Wicked!  We kept it a secret until it was time to leave and Bowdie helped us surprise her.  Not only was it fun to surprise Andrea, but the show was amazing and we had a fun night together!

Stacey definitely goes all out when she plans something and read a poem to Andrea revealing where we were going.

Giddy Up!

Child's World had their first "field trip" and some horses came to visit!  I was nervous that Raleigh wouldn't ride the horse because it might be too big, but she was a trooper and loved every minute of it!  I of course loved watching her and her friends.  So thankful that she is going to Child's World...I wouldn't want her anywhere else!

24 Weeks and 16 to go!

Another check up and all is well with our baby boy!  At this appointment his heart rate was around 140 bpm.  I did have the glucose test done at this appointment and after drinking the drink, baby boy was very active!  I'm so thankful for a healthy check up!

Gwinnett County Fair

Raleigh has been wanting to go to the fair and it was finally time for it to come to town.  I was the lucky one this year and didn't have to ride any of the rides.  :)  She loved all the rides and really wanted to ride the ferris wheel, but the line was too long.  The only downside...she doesn't want to ride anything alone and all the rides are kid rides so someone has to squeeze into the little seats.  My only regret...I just wish I would have been hungry enough for a funnel cake!

Bunny & Belle

Raleigh went to Payton's 3rd birthday party and dressed up as Belle (she was very excited to go to a princess birthday party)!  At first she didn't want her face painted, but before we left she decided to go for it and chose a bunny.  She loved it!  And the next day she wanted to know when she was going back to Payton's birthday party!  :)

Hilton Head

Wanting to get away for a few days before the baby comes, Jason and I decided to go to Hilton Head for a few days.  This is the first time that both of us have left Raleigh for more than a day.  We headed out on Saturday morning and had until midday Tuesday all to ourselves. It was wonderful to have just a few days to not do all the mommy duties!  Grandma and Papa got a glimpse into what Raleigh is really like (just how loud she can really be)!
A game of putt-putt

I loved being just like this with a book in hand!  I don't think I've done this with no other worries in 4 years!!
On Monday, we saw some sharks in the water.  You can see how everyone was standing around watching and would move up and down the beach following them.
The sharks were in these shallow waves when we would see them coming up and then we'd see fish jumping out of the water.

On Tuesday, Grandma and Papa drove Raleigh to meet us and the remainder of the week we had a small family vacation...the last one with just the three of us!  We had a wonderful time together!

On the boat and ready to go...and eat!

 Dolphins!

Our last day was overcast and very cool!  We didn't go to the beach to swim, but we did go to feed the birds and take some pictures.

These are my absolute favorite pictures...Raleigh wouldn't stand still to let me take a picture.  Instead she ran around me laughing as I spun around taking pictures of her.  Never thought that it would be my favorite, but her smile is so natural...definitely captures her!

Daddy had the birds eating out of his hand!

I really felt bad for the lifeguards...I remember my first summer lifeguarding when I was constantly in sweats for the first few weeks when the weather was overcast and cool most days.  They still had to set up and take everything down even though no one used it all day!
Raleigh found our sand castle that we had built the day before (or what was left of it) and she broke the remaining pieces down.
