Raleigh's nap days are getting very limited which makes me sad. Even though she doesn't necessarily need a nap, she's much more pleasant when she has one. I'm going to miss these days! She also has her own sense of style when it comes to playing. This was done before she went to sleep and made it difficult to walk in her room!

School Shopping
I can't believe Raleigh actually has a school supply list this year and will be starting Kindergarten in just a little over a week! I love school supplies so it was a lot of fun taking her shopping. She enjoyed it too!

American Girl Lunch
I had been wanting to take Raleigh for a while to eat at the American Girl Bistro. So, Heather and I planned a day and took her and Samantha. They had fun eating, but even more fun shopping. Raleigh's $20 limit bought her a bunny...Nutmeg.

Folly Beach, SC
What a wonderful week of relaxation and friends! This was our first year of going to the beach with friends. It was wonderful!! Raleigh had the greatest time, played non stop at the beach, and never begged us to play with her. Her and Payton were inseparable the whole week! They jumped waves, played in the sand, and wore themselves out! Raleigh was so tired at the end of each day that it never took her long to go to sleep. We also enjoyed the time to socialize with friends. We seriously couldn't have asked for a better week!!
Families at the beach...Stephens, Jenkins, Pognants, Hartsocks, Hendersons, Lockharts, Hutchensons, and Becky
First night a beautiful rainbow greeted us!
Payton, Raleigh, and Lindsey...the three amigos!
These two...LOVE!
Breakfast with the girls!
Payton and Lindsey weren't at the beach yet, so mommy had to go to work. :)
The Jenkins brought this wagon and Garner became attached to it. He didn't like it when he had to take turns sharing it with the other kids.
This was the face when the wagon got stuck or when someone else was using it. :)
Raleigh got sunburned no matter how often we reapplied sunscreen so we went for a walk one morning to the surf shop to buy her a swim shirt. Garner enjoyed his ride!
The surf shop gave us a sticker and since our car had been rear ended the week before and we were going to be replacing the bumper when we got home, we became surfers for the week!
Water bottles + sand + water + seashells = entertainment for kids
Favorite activity for the boys...baseball at the beach (or throwing the ball). Garner really thought he was big enough to join them...soon little boy, soon!
Some of the crew at the waters edge. I'm glad our sun bathing friend was sitting up in the background! ;)
Tuesday night we had a feast...low country boil! Lots of food, great company, and the kids entertained us with...
a dance party!
Attempt at family pictures...when one would cooperate the other wouldn't.
With Grandma and Papa
Adult dinner out with everyone (minus the Hartsocks who had already checked out)
low tide = baseball game
Fun night on the beach...kite flying, glow sticks, and just playing...even if it means playing in the water with your clothes on!
Garner once again thinking he's as big as the older boys. Blaine (along with the others too) were so sweet to him!
Silly girls!
The girls! Kallie, Raleigh, Payton, and Quinn
The sunset was gorgeous that night!
Olivia...LOVE her and her cute personality!
Garner was as happy as could be...the moon was even out
A game of chase!
These two...LOVE THEM! Didn't kiss, but puckered up :)
Our last morning on the beach we had to stay out of the ocean for a bit because of a storm. The older kids didn't mind because they could play ball. Garner however didn't like not being able to be in the water and being too small to play. They ended up giving him a ball to keep him occupied and out of the game. :)
I think this was the only time we enjoyed the pool...lots of time spent at the beach!
The saying that was over our bed for the week...yes it will! Great memories made this week!
