Garner is also enjoying Raleigh's piano she got for Christmas!

Merry Christmas!!

What a wonderful Christmas!  We started off the morning by reading the Christmas story making sure that Raleigh understood the true meaning of Christmas because she was more excited than ever this year about the presents. She did and we let her and Garner get busy opening up their presents from Santa.  Raleigh was so excited and was finished opening hers before Garner opened two!  I think he opened more last year than this year.  :)  Raleigh's list this year included an easel, piano, microphone stand, and drum set.  Well she got all except for the drum set and I think we're all glad she didn't get that except for her.  :)  Garner's biggest hits were his football and computer.  It doesn't take much to make him happy!  We enjoyed breakfast together and played for a short time before we headed out.

We headed over to Jason's grandmothers house for lunch.  Of course they had plenty of gifts for Raleigh and Garner as well.  Garner received a Wiggles drum and instrument set and Raleigh got a little upset because he got a drum set.  His other cute gift from Jason's parents was Big Hugs Elmo.  He was terrified of Elmo at first, but has come to love him.  Raleigh got a wardrobe for her dolls and a gift card to the American Girl store and cannot wait to use it when the new doll comes out.  She also got a friendship bracelet kit in addition to her rainbow loom bracelet kit so I see lots of bracelets in our future.  Let us know if you want one...we'll have lots to share!

We went home for naps and I received a great gift...Garner wanted me to hold him while he slept.  I didn't argue one bit!  After naps we headed over to Grandma and Papa's for some leftovers and gifts.  Raleigh loved her Queen Elsa doll and gown from the movie Frozen.  Garner loved his light up cars.

We had a wonderful day spending time with our family!  It's so hard to believe that Christmas has come and gone again.  Merry Christmas!!

Stephens Family Christmas Eve

Before heading over to Grandma and Papa's on Christmas Eve we took a few pictures at home.  Garner was so silly and enjoyed showing his belly!  So cute!!  We had a great night with family and Raleigh, Garner, Bryson, and Sawyer had fun playing together.  To finish the night we had to put out our cookies and milk for Santa!
