I've attempted this picture several times before and never had one that I loved, but I finally got it! I have one of Raleigh at almost the same age and I love it. It's amazing how much they look alike at this age!

8 months
Eight months and as busy as ever! Right now he flips himself around in a circle going from sitting to knees to sitting. I'm amazed at how far he can move around the room just by using this method. Garner is so very close to crawling. He's always getting up on his knees and rocking back and forth, but not really moving yet. He'll move his hands a little, but not with his legs. He's beginning to talk a lot more or when Raleigh gives him a chance. When we were on vacation he said ma-ma when he was hungry and ready to eat. Mommy couldn't hear her name and see him crying so we pulled the car over and he got to eat. I was also glad that ma-ma came before he said da-da, but he's now saying da-da as well. Garner is a good eater. He will not eat green beans any more. Both times he had them while on vacation he got sick afterwards and now refuses to open up for them. Other than that he loves food. Garner is now starting to really notice Raleigh and watch everything she does. It's sweet to see them "interact" but my oh my Raleigh can love on him a little too much! He still sleeps great, but we're struggling to figure out a good schedule with Raleigh starting school and CBS starting back up. Most of the time his morning naps are cut short, but then his afternoon naps are fairly long. I'm sure this next month will be interesting!
Day 250
Garner is very observant of everything Raleigh does. For the most part he'll listen to a book, but sometimes he's just not interested. This time however he was interested. Probably because his favorite sister was reading to him.

Day 249
You have to be quick getting the spoon in Garner's mouth because as soon as he opens up he closes his mouth! So many times we get a spoon with food falling over the side of it!

Day 248
Our big 4 year old on her first day of preschool! Ready to go visit all of her friends at Child's World!
First Day of Preschool
Raleigh missed the first official day of preschool when we were on vacation. So, today was her first official day. I'm not quite sure how this day has gotten here so quickly! She's only going for half days on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday mornings. Mrs. Boswell is her teacher and she can't wait! I'm very thankful that I am home this year to enjoy taking her to school, picking her up, and spending this final year before Kindergarten with her!!
