As we're eating supper, Raleigh takes a bite of her hot dog and then runs to the bathroom. She comes back, takes another bite and bursts into tears. The problem...her tooth is loose!! I could have started crying just because it's another sign she's growing up quickly, but we had to reassure her that it was fine and she would get a new one. Little did we know until we looked that her new one was already starting to grow in! I was shocked that she hadn't felt. Now we're just waiting for it to get a little looser so we can pull it.

Trick or Treat
We went over to Heather and Terry's for some trick or treating. Raleigh was so excited to go over there so she would have someone to go around with. This was our first experience with door to door trick or treating. Usually we just hit up the grandparents. It was so much fun not only having friends to go around with, but also watching Garner. It's like he was born knowing what he was suppose to do. He didn't hesitate at all going up to the houses, but he was so slow getting up there that the girls would be ready to head out before he got to the door. At least he had a nice ride for the night with a beautiful Sophia. They all ended up with way too much candy and had a blast!
When I Grow Up...
I want to be a teacher! Raleigh has been learning about community helpers and was able to choose one to dress up as on Halloween. It really came as no surprise to me that she wanted to be a teacher since she plays school almost every day. I guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree! We pulled out my old badges and made a little tote bag with some teacher sayings for her to carry. I think she makes a pretty cute teacher!

Fall Festival
We went to the fall festival at church for a little while on Saturday afternoon. Raleigh was a little more willing to play the games this year and Garner wanted to play, but didn't really know what to do. We stayed just long enough for them to get some candy, but not too much. :) Raleigh was a beautiful Mulan and Garner was the cutest Elmo I've ever seen, but I may be a little partial.

Pumpkin Patch
Thanks to Raleigh's field trip to Washington Farms, we were able to return and get her in free for the activities. We went first to pick out our pumpkin and checked out the beautiful sunflowers. Then we took the hayride to all of the fun activities. Garner wanted to do anything they had that allowed him to throw a ball. Raleigh really enjoyed them all more this year than in years past. We wanted to do the corn maze, but it was getting late and cool so we did a very short corn maze that they had. Raleigh wasn't a fan of it because it was getting pretty dark when we started. Probably in the daylight she'd have more fun. Overall, we had a wonderful time squeezing in some last minute fall activities!
