Happy 2nd Birthday, Garner!!

The past two years have flown by, but at the same time I look at pictures from last year and it seems like it was forever ago.  There have been so many changes that have taken place in the past year.  Garner has developed the cutest and funniest personality.  He makes us laugh all the time with the crazy things he does and the looks he gives.  He knows he's funny too and that makes discipline hard.  :)  He has a very tender heart and is super sweet and cuddly.  I just love him to pieces.  He loves all things boy...cars, blocks, balls, and trains.  Garner weighs 34 lbs (95%) and is 36 in (81%) tall.
Instead of having a party for him this year we took him to the Southeaster Railway Museum in Duluth. It's just an old warehouse with old trains inside and some outside.  They also have train rides, but the day we went they were not working because it was so cold.  Garner didn't seem to care and really appeared to enjoy it.  I'm not sure if it was because he loved the trains or he was able to run around.  A couple trains actually went by while we were there and he stopped and looked when he heard them.  We had a lot of fun and a tired boy afterwards.

Garner's actual birthday fell on Monday before Raleigh went back to school.  During the day we worked on icing his cake and I had a little critiquing from Raleigh.  :)  Luckily by the time it was finished she said it was perfect...whew!  Grandma cooked and Nana & Granddaddy brought chicken and we ate at home and opened presents.  It was a nice relaxing birthday and I don't think Garner cared that we didn't have a big party!  :)

Visit from Molly & Grayson

Eddie, Lori, Molly, & Grayson were in town and mama cooked for them.  Raleigh and Garner enjoyed playing with Molly & Grayson!

Isabelle

Raleigh was so excited that she had waited until the new American Girl of the year came out and saved up her money so she could buy Isabelle.  It was a perfect fit since she was a ballerina and Raleigh loves ballet!  However we didn't know just how crowded the store was going to be.  We waited in line for quite some time, but we finally got into the madness and bought Isabelle.  Raleigh was so excited!
