Magic Kingdom

For our second day we went to Magic Kingdom.  I'm not sure if we just picked the most popular day to go there or if it was because of the rain the day before, but it was packed!  We still had a wonderful time and got to do most everything.  We probably spent more time in line for autographs than we did for rides, but Raleigh enjoyed it so that is what matters.  Raleigh was so excited that while we were in line for lunch we got to see her friend Payton!  Of course Raleigh would have loved to have seen Elsa and Anna, but they were only in the parade so that is close as we were able to get.  It was a wonderful, tiring day!  I'm already ready to go back!

Hollywood Studios

Since the last time we were at Disney we had to cut our day at Hollywood Studios really short (since Garner was so sick) we decided to go back and I'm glad we did.  Although I couldn't ride any of the fun rides with Jason and there are more shows than rides for the kids we still had fun.  It was a rainy day so this was a great park for the weather.  Garner however did not like any of the characters!  He was so cute when we were in line for Toy Story Mania.  He did not like the large Mr. Potato Head that talked while you were waiting so he wanted Grandma to hold him and he closed his eyes.  He kept them closed so long he almost went to sleep!  We finally got one picture of him with Lightning McQueen and Mater, but it was a struggle.  Any other characters we saw he wanted nothing to do with them.  Mickey almost got a wave.  Raleigh however loved seeing any and all characters.  She had her autograph book and loved getting the autographs!

Headed to Orlando!

After Daytona we headed over to Orlando.  We first went to find Jason's Grandfathers and Aunts grave so we could show Raleigh and Garner and take a picture to give Memaw.  Luckily between Jason, my mom, and me we were able to find it without looking for hours.  We also went to Downtown Disney for just a little while and let Raleigh and Garner ride the train there.  Finally we went to meet a sweet couple we had met on vacation several years ago for dinner.  It was great getting to catch up with them!

Daytona Beach

We decided to go to Daytona for a day to begin spring break and then head over to Disney for two days so we could use the timeshare that mama and daddy had agreed to try out for a year.  It was fun to come back to Daytona and see it again since it had been so many years.  We didn't stay in the same area that we use to stay in, but we drove down to see it and it has definitely changed over the years.  The boardwalk had really changed and the rides that they have now didn't seem quite as scary!  Raleigh and Garner loved being able to play on the beach!
