Our Little Caterpillar

I can't believe it's really been a whole year since I headed to the hospital to have my baby boy! I had seen the idea of a Very Hungry Caterpillar party several years ago and thought how it would be a cute 1st birthday party theme.  Who knew it would be so popular now?! I don't like doing the popular themes (at least for the first birthday when they can't choose), but I had "planned" it in my mind for over a year now.  So, The Very Hungry Caterpillar it was and I found lots of ideas!  Yes, I know, my family and friends don't care what it looks like and neither did Garner, but I love it and do it for myself. It makes me feel good even though I stress myself out and probably make Jason miserable.  I'm so glad he puts up with me!
We just had our family and a couple of friends over for a small party.  Garner enjoyed it all...especially the cake! Raleigh loved getting to play with her two favorite friends! Couldn't have asked for a better day!  Happy 1st Birthday Garner!!
