Happy 1st Birthday, Blakely!

I cannot believe that it has already been a year since Blakely was born.  This year has flown by!  Blakely is our petite little girl.  She weighs 20 lbs 7 oz (37%) and is 30 in long (73%).  She is starting to really get moving.  She'll walk until she realizes what she is doing or wants to go faster and then she'll fall down and crawl.  She's so cute toddling around!  She doesn't love to eat vegetables, but she does want to eat all that we're having.  Blakely says bye bye and waves when we leave.  She loves music and dancing.  She still only has two teeth.  She loves to get into anything and everything!  Blakely is still our happy little girl who is an added joy to our family!

Dear Blakely,
We love you so much!  We are so glad that God chose you to complete our family.  You are such a happy little girl and you definitely make us smile.  You don't like it when we get onto you because you look at us and get all pouty and then start crying.  It's so cute!  Sometimes we'll tell you to stop and you'll look at us and just smile.  You know how to get to us!  You can move around so quickly with your different crawl.  You're also quiet when you do it so we have to constantly keep an eye on you.  We really can't imagine our family without you!  You love Raleigh and Garner and they love you too.  They are still always wanting to sit next to you or hold you.  We hope that all of you are great friends as you grow older.  It has been such a joy to watch you grow and learn this past year!  We are so thankful for you and love being your parents!  Happy 1st Birthday baby girl!!
Love,
Mommy & Daddy

To celebrate Blakely's birthday we had everyone over for dinner, cake, and ice cream.  Mama didn't want it to be her birthday because it was Blakely's but we enjoyed celebrating her too.  Raleigh and Samantha played "Happy Birthday" on the piano for us to sing.  Blakely wanted nothing to do with her cake.  Raleigh didn't help any when she put her hand into the cake.  When she did that Blakely started crying and wasn't happy until she got away.  She also didn't seem to care much for her presents until everyone left.  Then she was excited to play with them.  I think she may have been overstimulated just a little.  We had a wonderful time celebrating our little one year old!
