Raleigh's Christmas Party

Raleigh had her Christmas party at school first thing in the morning.  We all went and enjoyed their crafts and doughnuts.  Garner actually sat with Raleigh and listened to the story Mrs. Simmons read.  It was a fun party!!

Holiday Hotcakes

Holiday Hotcakes at Mulberry is always a fun morning.  Raleigh was asked by Mrs. Hower to play a couple Christmas pieces on the piano before the chorus concert.  She was a little nervous, but did a fabulous job!  After that, her and Garner had fun eating and making crafts.  They also got to visit Santa and Mrs. Claus, but Blakely didn't really enjoy Santa.  :)

Fun Run Time!

It was time for the Boosterthon Fun Run again at school!  Raleigh and Lauren ran together most of the time.  Raleigh did great this year and had a total of 31 laps!

2nd Grade!

How in the world is it possible that Raleigh is starting 2nd Grade?!?!  I really can't believe it!  I will say that it's not as hard dropping her off for school now as it was for Kindergarten, but it's still not easy.  Her and Garner can drive me crazy, but I love having her home!  We got to school and made a few pictures with some friends and Mrs. Simmons and then we went into her classroom.  I saw a note on her desk and then we started reading it.  It was from Ms. McBryde.  I did good until I saw that and then I started crying.  I thought it was so sweet of her to write a note to all of the kids from last year!  I'm so thankful we left a girl that was all smiles!

When I picked her up she was still smiling and had a wonderful day!  She said they did writing, went outside, went to specials (or the computer lab to get signed in), organized their desk, and morning work.  She had a little questionnaire for homework and she's all grown up now having an agenda book!  Hopefully she'll be responsible and organized this year.  :)  We're looking forward to a wonderful year with Mrs. Simmons!
