The Wiggles 2009

Raleigh loves watching The Wiggles. Well, they came to the Gwinnett Arena so we bought tickets to go see them. We went with Jackie (a lady I work with) and her two boys, Pete and Bo. We all had lunch at Steak-N-Shake then headed to see The Wiggles!! It was so much fun!!!! On TV you never know how much they are really doing, but these guys and the dancers are really talented! Of course since Jackie bought the tickets for us as soon as they went on sale, we had awesome seats!

Watching intently!!
"I drive a big red, I drive a big red, I drive a big red car"

Jackie loves to go all out in whatever she is doing. Well, she made shirts for all of the kids and a HUGE bone for Wags the dog. We all thought she was absolutely crazy at school and made fun of how big the bone was...well, The Wiggles actually read the bone out loud, she got to take it up to Anthony, and then they personally handed it to Wags! How neat is that!?!
Jackie and Bo giving the bone to Anthony
Murray reading the bone and then giving it to Wags!
We made a pillow bouquet of roses for Dorothy the dinosaur. We however were not as ambitious about getting it read or giving it to Dorothy, so we didn't personally get to talk to Anthony. We ended up bringing it back home since they didn't take ours...I didn't feel good about leaving something with Raleigh's picture or name on it.
Raleigh's pillow bouquet...Rosy may have needed to be spelled Rosie, but when you only buy one pack of iron on letters it gets spelled with the letters that are available!
One problem we had with the wiggles...Jeff (the one on the far left in purple). His purples on this outfit did not match! You can sort of tell in the picture.

Kindermusik Fall 2009

After a great experience with Kindermusik during the summer we decided to attend again this fall. This fall it was in the evenings so Jason was able to attend with us most weeks. It was amazing to see the growth in Raleigh from this summer to the fall. She really learned so much about music, sharing, listening, etc. Not to mention she really came out of her shell the last few weeks! Many thanks to Mrs. Dana for all her hard work and time that she puts into Kindermusik each week!

Halloween 2009

We had two choices for costumes this year. Option 1...Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz because Raleigh calls herself Dorothy since that is her middle name. Option 2...Minnie Mouse because Raleigh loves watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. We went with option 2 because she knows who Minnie Mouse is and the price for the two costumes were the same (actually Minnie Mouse was on sale for more than we originally thought so it was a better deal). She had fun going trick or treating at all of her grandparents houses. We then went to the church for the fall festival, but didn't stay long. While we were at the church we saw a really cute Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse...Avery and Ryleigh! Of course pictures were mandatory of the three!

We had to move the pumpkin around to get her picture next to it...she didn't like it!

Pumpkin Carving

Raleigh and daddy carved our pumpkin this year. We're not great carvers, but we enjoyed the time together. Obviously I've kept Raleigh too clean for her short life so far...she didn't like the pumpkin "goo" on her hands. Reminds me of myself. :) She loved the pumpkin until it was finished and had a face. I think she was scared of it afterwards...you can tell by the look on her face when we tried to sit her next to it!

Washington Farms Pumpkin Patch...Take 2

Since we missed all the fun the first trip, we took a trip back to Washington Farms on a Thursday evening to enjoy all of their great activities. Raleigh really enjoyed it. Her favorite part ended up being the duck water races. She loved making the water come out of the water pump. The second favorite would probably be the pig races or the cow train...she loved them both! Fun time making some special memories!
Hayride time!!

Special Moments

I just had to post this video of some special moments of Raleigh. She has started singing her ABC's (of course her own version) and Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star. She's counting more...making it to 10 sometimes! My favorite from the whole video segment...I wuv ooh! Just some really cute milestones that I never want to forget!
