36 weeks

I had another ultrasound to recheck my placenta and make sure everything was where it should be for delivery.  The baby had its head down so far and was a little stubborn and wouldn't move so they really couldn't see the placenta.  However since they couldn't see it and from what they could tell it was far enough out of the way, things are all good for delivery!  The heart rate was 153 bpm.  Everything looked great and now it's just a waiting game and an appointment every week!  I can't believe there is only a month at most left!  I'm excited and sad all at the same time!

Mulberry Reads Kickoff

Mulberry had their kickoff for Mulberry Reads at Barnes and Noble.  The book they are reading this year is The Fantastic Secret of Owen Jester.  It sounds like it will be a cute book!  I look forward to reading it as well.  Raleigh of course was excited to see Ms. McBryde there!

Future Music Composer

Raleigh has really taken an interest in music notes and writing songs.  Once again she's asking for a piano and her little keyboard she got for Christmas just isn't satisfying her.

Apple Picking!

We went back to Mercier Orchards this year to pick apples, but this time we made sure we went on a weekend so we could actually pick there.  We first had a picnic lunch and then we headed up to pick apples.  Garner was excited about his ride on the trailer hooked up to the tractor.  When we got to the orchard the first place we headed was to pick some granny smith apples.  They are definitely popular as it was difficult at first to find some on the trees.  We finally found some and enjoyed eating a little and picking some.  Garner was our little picker for the apples up high and he did a great job.  After we found some of those we went and tried some others and picked the ones we liked.  It got pretty hot and Raleigh and I were ready to sit down and head back.  Garner was fine as long as he was eating an apple.  Jason quickly finished picking and filling our bag so we could head back.  We then had to go in the store and buy some fried apple pies...yum!!  We had a great time, but were pretty tired.  Raleigh and Garner both took a little nap on the way home.

Pumpkin Picking

We decided to head to Washington Farms to pick a pumpkin so we didn't run out of time this year.  Since we didn't want to make an entire day out of it, we skipped all the activities on the farm and just found out pumpkin.  Raleigh didn't seem to care and Garner didn't realize what he was missing so we were good.  We quickly searched for our carving pumpkin and Raleigh and Garner picked out their little pumpkin for themselves and one for the baby.  Now we have our pumpkin so we can carve it this year!

A Real Drum!

Garner got to play one of the big drums at the football game!  I think he loved it and watching the band!

Working with Papa

Now that Papa is working from home, Garner can "go" to work with him!
