Mulberry Reads Celebration
Raleigh's class was reading the book The Gollywhopper Games and I read it at home. It's a really cute book. A little older than Kindergarten age, but still good. The school had a spaghetti dinner and games out on the table. Then we had a special skype visit from the author. Finally the kids had a trivia game about the book. We didn't win, but we still had a blast! Raleigh and her friend Tori danced away when they did the flash mob dance! Too funny and cute!

Tooth Fairy Visit
Raleigh had a nice visit from the tooth fairy and now she can't wait to go to the Disney Store! Her tooth fairy is a little too nice and may not realize there are 20 teeth that will fall out! :)

Rockettes and Raleigh's New Look
Grandma and Papa wanted to take Raleigh to see the Radio City Music Hall Rockettes. I knew that Raleigh would love them especially as much as she loves dancing. It was so much fun to watch her watch them and then to see her acting it out at home afterwards. Thanks Grandma and Papa for a fun morning!
Raleigh's loose tooth finally came out with a little ice cream bribery from daddy! He scared her by telling her he had to pull it or she might swallow it while eating. He pulled it and she cried, but ended up being all excited about the tooth fairy coming.

Camp Fire Reading
Raleigh's class wrote and published a story then had a day for parents to come and listen as they read the stories around the "camp fire." We were so proud of how much Raleigh has accomplished in her writing so far this year! It's hard to believe how much she has already learned!

Sweet Notes!
Raleigh left these two notes lying around! I just love watching her learning to read and write!
I love you bigger than the whole wide world
I love you so so much. I can't stop saying it but I love you so so so so much.
22 months
I can't believe there's only 2 months left until Garner turns 2! This year has flown by! Garner loves Elmo and watching Sesame Street. If I need to get something done and him to stay out of trouble I can usually do it during Sesame Street. The Wiggles are also still a favorite. Garner loves to have a ball in his hand at all times. The boy loves books! If he's too quiet and I go looking for him I will usually find him in his room sitting and looking at books. Garner is definitely Mr. Independent! He always wants to walk instead of being carried. This would be ok, but he thinks he doesn't have to hold a hand and then he falls down in a tantrum because we're holding his hand. This also happens when it's time to leave somewhere if he's having fun or just doesn't want to go. Not cute! If he gets much heavier it's really going to be challenging trying to pick up a dead weight child. :) He's adding a few new words...he's trying to say please and thank you (often with a smile and nod) and unless you ask him to say it you wouldn't have a clue what he's saying, he makes pig and cat sounds, says light, turkey, and pretty much anything that Raleigh asks him to say he'll try. Love him and his personality more and more every day!
