Green Eggs and Ham

March 2nd...Dr. Seuss' Birthday...Read Across America Day.  I'm so glad I remembered this day and was able to celebrate with Raleigh.  When I was teaching this was one of my favorite days.  For the first few years we were allowed to wear our pajamas to school and we spent all day reading!  The other thing we did during the day was to cook and eat green eggs and ham.  The kids loved it so I thought I should do it with Raleigh.  It was a hit!  At first she turned up her nose, but as we read the book she decided it would be great to eat her green eggs and ham!  I of course loved doing this with her!!

Now to pull out some other "teaching" activities to use!
