Here's to hoping that this will continue!  Mommy could definitely use the extra sleep!

The Nutcracker

Grandma, Raleigh and I had a girls day to see The Nutcracker at the Fox.  We surprised Raleigh and she loved it!  I'm so glad we decided to go and hope that we can go back every year and eventually add Blakely to our outing.

 Garner and Blakely enjoyed some time with daddy while we were gone!

Unfortunately the day didn't end great as Raleigh got sick which was just the beginning of a LONG two weeks of sickness!

Christmas Lights

Going to see Christmas lights this year was so fun!  We let Raleigh and Garner wear their pajamas and we headed to Waffle House for supper.  Then when we left we used a new light scavenger hunt and went searching.  We found almost everything!  To end the night we enjoyed a yummy milkshake!  Lots of fun!!

1st Grade Christmas Performance

For first grades winter party they had a performance in the gym and then we went back to the classrooms for a snack.  Raleigh's class had snowman doughnuts and cookies and juice boxes.  This was my kind of party...no planning or organizing a craft with so many people in the room!  The kids loved it and the ones that checked out were gone by 2:00!  The kids sang several Christmas songs and some of them introduced the songs.  Raleigh was not scheduled to have a part, but one of the girls in her class went home sick and she filled in.  She did great, but I had no doubt because she had been playing earlier in the week practicing for the performance and saying the parts.  :)  Who would have ever thought that Jason and I would have a child that loved to perform!  I love seeing her shine in something she loves!

Enjoying the Swing

Blakely is finally enjoying the swing more.  I think the key was to keep her covered up...or at least that's what we did when she started liking it more.  :)

My little Who from Whoville

Raleigh had Grinch day at school so they could either dress in green or as a Who from Whoville.  She wanted to be a Who so we tried our best to copy the hairdo that one of the other girls wore the week before.  Well, it didn't quite turn out the way it was suppose to, but Raleigh thought it looked great and that is all that matters!  She's a pretty cute little Who!

Raleigh's Choir Program

Raleigh had her choir program at church and it was so cute!  She loves this kind of thing!  Her and Israel stood next to each other and I'm glad they didn't get in trouble whispering.  :)
