Happy St. Patrick's Day!

I took pictures at school for Raleigh's class.  Ms. McBryde had their picture made in this hat for their leprechaun story.  Such a cute little leprechaun!

Free Cone Day!!

Who can resist a free cone?  Obviously not many people can since the line was LONG, but Dairy Queen was giving a free cone out and we enjoyed it!

Garner-isms

Garner...I love him!  He can be a complete mess, but then he can be the sweetest little boy ever!  He definitely has a little temper and sometimes just screams.  But then he comes up to me and says, "I wuv you, mommy" and my heart melts.  He loves Blakely, sometimes too much.  He comes up to her all the time and says, "I wuv you, Bakey."  Then he'll clap at her trying to get her attention...so cute!  He is good about using his manners and saying thank you...sometimes.  I love it when he does it unprompted.  It's so sweet!  He loves to sleep with his Nemo's.  Yes, there are more than one...a squishy one, regular stuffed one, and an itty bitty Nemo.  He is finally sleeping in his big boy bed after he wet his crib and we just didn't put another sheet on it.  And he is potty trained!!  Once he decided he was ready, he was easy!  He's been wearing underwear out in public for a month now and has only had one accident.  He even holds it at night which surprised me!  When he stands up to go, I just want to squeeze him...it's so cute!  Now if he could only learn to pull his pants up on his own.  :)  He knows his whole name now.  When he says it all together he says Garner Robot (instead of Robert) Collum.  The first time he did it I just died laughing so I may have kept asking him just a few more times.  :)  He loves Kindermusik and it is so cute to watch him.  He does a wonderful job and for the most part will sit and listen very well.  By the end he's starting to want to dance around more, but he's just moving while he does what he's suppose to do.  I look at him in there and I get all teary eyed at how cute he is, how quickly he's growing up, and how I just want to cherish these moments with him.  Things are so busy that I'm so scared I'm going to look back and forget what he was like and I don't want that to happen.  I'm so glad I have this little boy that loves mommy for now!

4 months!

Blakely is four months old and growing like a little weed!  At her check up, she weighed 15 lbs 9.4 oz (85%) and was 26.25 in long (96%).  The little booger still doesn't sleep through the night consistently. I asked the doctor and she suggested giving her a little Maalox before her last feeding at night to see if that would help in case she was having reflux and waking herself up.  So far, so good.  She's been a little more consistent since then.  Hopefully it will continue!  She loves to laugh and smiles a lot!  Basically she is happy unless she's hungry or tired and then she will definitely show her temper.  She enjoys watching Garner run around outside while sitting in her bumbo seat.  She can easily sit up with someone holding her hands.  I'll be surprised if she's not sitting on her own in the next month.  The drool is constantly flowing from her mouth and needs a bib on to keep her dry.  Everyone asks if she's teething because of that.  So far nothing, but Raleigh did the same thing and didn't get her first tooth until 9 months so we will see what pattern Blakely falls into.  She loves to hold onto her Sophie giraffe, keys, and blankie.  They will often go straight to her mouth.  :)  She does love the exersaucer and has sat in it at church and Grandma & Papa's, but we haven't gotten ours down yet.  I guess it's time we do that.  She's also sat in her highchair while we've eaten supper.  I really can't believe she's already doing that!  I love how she's responding to us so much more, but I miss my newborn baby!

Growing Up!

Blakely is growing up too quickly!  She's starting to watch the TV, sitting big in her bumbo, and sitting in her high chair for the first time.  Slow down!!

Gwinnett County Tapestry Fine Arts Festival

Raleigh had artwork chosen to represent Mulberry in the Gwinnett County Tapestry Fine Arts Festival. The artwork was on display at the ISC building and she was awarded a certificate from Ms. Westcott.  She has really grown in her artwork this year and it is something that she loves.  I'm so thankful for wonderful teachers who encourage her to do her best.  We are proud of you, Raleigh!

Sweet Feet & Sideways Sleeping

I love pulling out the frilly socks for Blakely!
Garner is finally sleeping in his big boy bed, but I think he needs to make a little adjustment!
